In the case of endometriosis of female eggs, that is, endometrioma, popularly known as chocolate cyst, unfortunately chocolate cyst can reduce the egg reserve in women and reduce the possibility of women getting pregnant. Egg reserve is a value that decreases with age and is irreversible. In cases such as chocolate cysts, this decrease occurs faster.<\/p>\n

Therefore, egg freezing can be performed in order to increase women’s chances of becoming pregnant in their later years and to preserve their reproductive capacity. In our country, a health board report is required for egg freezing. In cases of decreased egg reserve, if the AMH value is below 1.2, egg freezing is performed in women who will undergo or have had egg surgery or in patients who will receive radiotherapy or chemotherapy for diseases such as cancer.<\/p>\n
